Completion of Gold Coast Desalination Plant
In conjuction with GCD alliance, Pacific Hoseflex manufactured permeate hoses for the Gold Coast Desalination Project, worth $1.2 billion. The Gold Coast Desalination Project is a joint initiative between Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) and the Queensland Government. The project is being delivered by the GCD Alliance which comprises John Holland, Veolia Water Australia, Sinclair Knight Merz and Cardno.
 
Coal Seam Gas (Coal Bed Methane)
In major coal resource ‘basins’ there are many coal seams existing from close to the surface  to those many hundreds of meters underground. Coal seam gas was formed when the coal itself was formed and has been held within the coal under pressure. The gas is largely composed of the gas methane which is also the principal component of natural gas.

The materials available are stainless steel corrugated flexible hose and rubber gas flexible hoses. Both these products are AGA approved. We are accredited to Gas Approval Standard AG 216 and our Stainless steel corrugated hose will be manufactured on request to standard ISO 9001:2000 and also to International Standard ISO10380.
 
Flexible Exhaust Bellows
Pacific Hoseflex has the capabilities to produce exhaust bellows for major car, bus, truck and automotive companies. Being a quality endorsed company enables us to meet the standards of these recognised multinational associations. Materials include stainless steal 304, 316, 321 and carbon steel. Pacific Hoseflex can custom manufacture to designs and meet customer requirements and specifications.
 
Chlorine/Bromine Transfer Hose
Liquid Chlorine transfer is one of the most complex handling problems in the chemical industry today. At regular temperatures, Chlorine is a gas possessing a strong aroma. When the gas is cooled at atmospheric pressure, it liquefies, forming clear amber liquid. Teflon® is the ideal transfer medium due to its unique properties; it is the only hose that can adequately transfer Chlorine in a safe manner.
 
Pacific Hoseflex’s Chlorine transfer hose meets and exceeds the Chlorine Institute specification on operating and test qualifications. Pacific Hoseflex’s exclusive design resists the toughest handling and collapse’s. In addition, the low profile helical convolutions facilitate easy draining. Each assembly is also serialised for traceability.
